Several injured after SUV rear-ends bus during morning commute in Chula Vista

CHULA VISTA (CNS) – At least 21 people were assessed for possible injuries after a Ford Explorer rear-ended a transit bus in Chula Vista early Monday, authorities said.

The crash at East H Street and Paseo Del Rey was reported at 7:21 a.m., according to a San Diego fire-rescue dispatcher.

Several ambulances were sent to the scene, the dispatcher said.
