Shacknai back in court today regarding death of Rebecca Zahau

SAN DIEGO (KUSI)- A San Diego judge has refused to overturn the verdict for the man found responsible for the 2011 death of Rebecca Zahau. Attorneys for Adam Shaknai asked the court to overturn the guilty verdict in the last year’s wrongful death civil suit. They asked for a new trial.

Today, the judge rejected the motion for the verdict to be set aside.

The attorney for the Zahau family praised the judge’s decision.
