Sharp Rees-Stealy weight loss program changes man’s life

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – In July 2018, Cameron Salois weighed nearly 500 pounds before decided he wanted to change his life.

He had reached 494 pounds when he enrolled in the Health Management Program at Sharp Rees-Stealy. After he lost 17 pounds in the first week, he soon realized this could be a way out without needing surgery. He has lost 290 pounds in 17 months.

Salois is currently the general manager at Crunch Fitness in National City.

Kimberly Smith served as Cameron’s coach for the last eight months he was in the program and stopped by Good Morning San Diego to talk about at his dedication, discipline and how the simple layout of the program and accountability played a huge role.
