Sheriff’s officials searching for missing Santee man

SANTEE (CNS) – A 70-year-old Santee man with dementia and high blood pressure was last seen at his home at noon Saturday and his worried family requests the public to help find him, San Diego County sheriff's officials said on Monday in a statement.

Larry Negrette's wife discovered him missing from the residence at about 5 p.m. Saturday and he hasn't been seen or heard from since, sheriff's officials said.

Negrette is described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8 inches tall, about 210 pounds, with gray hair, a receding hair line and brown eyes. He wears glasses and has a moustache. Negrette was wearing a t-shirt of an unknown color, blue jeans and white sneakers.

His vehicle was inoperable and accounted for, the family said.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Santee detectives at (619) 956-4000.
