Since Last September! & Heads Up!

Monday, March 19, 2012 – Six weeks ago KUSI's Michael Turko showed us a San Diego city park dealing with a mini-blackout. Turko says ball fields, walkways and parking lots are still in the dark and park officials are still making promises. In the meantime the little league is making do thanks to daylight savings time and the park department says they temporarily relocated girls softball games to another park in Scripps Ranch.

Now a friendly warning from someone most of us hate dealing with this time of year, the Internal Revenue Service. They say a new tax scam is hitting hard in Southern California involving bogus tax credits. The IRS says once you sign your tax return you're responsible for the consequences no matter who gives you advice, or actually prepares the return for you.
