Six people left injured after several shootings occurred all over San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A 32-year-old man was shot multiple times Sunday while walking in the Teralta West neighborhood, police said.

The shooting was reported at 1:47 a.m. Sunday on 43rd Street at Orange Avenue, said Officer Robert Heims of the San Diego Police Department.

The victim was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, the officer said.

SDPD gang detectives were investigating the shooting.

 

A 41-year-old man was seriously wounded Sunday when a suspect inside a black SUV fired shots at him at the parking lot of the Bahia Resort Hotel, in the Mission Beach community of San Diego, authorities said.

The man was with a group of pedestrians walking westbound through the hotel’s parking lot, 998 W. Mission Bay Drive, where the black SUV was driving in circles through at about 12:15 a.m., the San Diego Police Department reported.

The vehicle pulled up next to the group and someone from inside fired shots at them. The SUV fled the scene in an unknown direction.

The other pedestrians took the victim in their vehicle to a hospital with serious injuries.

Three people were wounded during a shooting in an alley in the Pacific Beach community of San Diego, authorities said Sunday.

The victims were listed in stable condition at a hospital, the San Diego Police Department reported.

Officers dispatched at 11:30 p.m. Saturday to a radio call of someone hearing gunshots in an alley in the 3800 block of Kendall Street found some blood and a gun, the department reported.

Officers learned a short time later that three gunshot victims were taken by their friends to a hospital.

Police had no suspect information.

A 23-year-old man was seriously wounded during a shooting Sunday morning at Silver Wing Park in the Otay Mesa West community of San Diego, authorities said.

Police received a call at 12:36 a.m. of someone reporting that a friend had been shot at Silver Wing Park, 3600 Arey Drive, the San Diego Police Department said.

Arriving officers reported finding a man in the street in front of the park, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Paramedics rushed him to a hospital in serious condition.
