Speaking with survivor Rose Schindler on Holocaust Remembrance Day 2022

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Today is the anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau and is designated by the United Nations General Assembly as International Holocaust Remembrance Day.

On “Good Evening San Diego,” KUSI’s Ginger Jeffries talked with Rose Schindler, a Holocaust Survivor, along with her son Ben Schindler.

Rose Schindler, was born in 1929 and was raised in Czechoslovakia before she was deported to Auschwitz with her parents, aunt, five sisters and two brothers. When they were deported, Rose was only 14-years-old.

She has written about her story in a book called, “Two Who Survived”, which tells the world what happened during this fateful time.

Rose Schindler has a YouTube Channel full of content and they’re always  are always looking for new subscribers.
