Special shopping experience benefits Armed Services YMCA
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — The Chargers have yet to finish up the football season, but one player found time to give back for the holidays.
It’s been a long standing tradition at JC Penny’s nationwide, but this year, the Armed Forces YMCA decided to get involved.
Fifty kids, ages 7-17, received $100 gift cards to use at the department store. They were able to use that money on whatever they wanted.
Chargers Safety Darrell Stuckey was there to help the kids shop and stay on budget.
It was an exciting time for these kids and a great way to kick off the holiday season, even if they weren’t sure who they were buying the gifts for.
