Stadium Watch: Stadium Task Force unveils new financing plan

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – They are calling their plan the first of its kind and say it should jump-start negotiations between the Chargers, the city and the county.

The Citizens Stadium Advisory Group unveiled plans for a 65,000-seat stadium in Mission Valley Monday.

Under the plan, the stadium will be funded with a mix of contributions between the team, the NFL and local government.

Total funding would reach about $1.4 billion and it would require no new taxes.
