Standoff with armed man in 8400 block of Graves

SANTEE (KUSI)- Sheriff’s, SWAT, and El Cajon Police are  surrounding an area in the 8400 block of Graves Avenue starting around 6:30 p.m.

People living in the neighborhood are being told to shelter in place because a man with a hand gun, is in a field near an apartment building and he is refusing to cooperate.

Sheriff’s deputies are trying to talk the man into surrendering, but so far that hasn’t happened.

No word on how the incident started.
