State regulators hold public forum on proposed SDG&E rate change

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The California Public Utility Commission is holding public hearings to get input from customers on SDG&E’s rate requests.

San Diego Gas & Electric wants permission to raise its rates. These forums give the public a chance to weigh in on the issue.

The CPUC is an agency that regulates privately owned public utilities in the state of California, including electric power, telecommunications, natural gas and water companies.
