Steve Wampler becomes first person with Cerebral Palsy to successfully climb Yosemite’s El Capitan

We have been following this story from the very beginning, and now his journey is over. Steve Wampler has completed his personal challenge to be the first person with Cerebral Palsy to successfully climb Yosemite's El Capitan.

Steve and his team created a pulley system and climbing chair to allow him to tackle the 3,000 ft mountain one pull up at a time. Five days and 20,000 pull ups later, Steve Wampler is now back on the ground from achieving his goal to make it to the top.

Besides the personal achievement, Steve did this climb to raise money for Wampler Kids, his foundation that operates a summer camp for children with physical disabilities.
