Stock market dips as tensions between Iran and U.S. deepen

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A day after the stock market reached a new record high on its way to 30,000, stocks sank across the board Friday.

Because of escalating tensions between the U.S. and Iran, oil prices jumped.

The Dow tumbled more than 230 points. Both the Dow and S&P 500 had their worst day in a month.

KOGO 600 Radio Host Sully Sullivan was in studio to discuss what this could mean for the start of the new year.
