Storm gives way to warmer end of week

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Warmer weather will begin to slowly move in Wednesday and replace the storm that brought rain, thunder and lightning to San Diego early in the week.

Though cloudy skies and a chance of rain are still in the forecast for most of San Diego County Wednesday, by Thursday temperatures should be back to the high 60s along the coast and mid 70s inland with sunny skies.

In the mountains, temperatures will stay below 60 all week while the desert will climb back up to the 80s by the weekend.
