Students got free heart screenings Sunday

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – More than one thousand students got a free heart screening Sunday.

The Eric Paredes Save A Life Foundation provided the free heart screenings. The group said they gave the heart checks because there are no pre-participation sports physicals at most schools. 

Along with the heart screening their was also training in CPR and how to use an AED.
