Summit to increase opportunity for young people who are not working or in school

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) -A summit set to bring leaders of all ages together to build better futures for people between the ages of 16 and 24 who are neither in school nor employed, otherwise known as opportunity youth.

More than 36,000 San Diegans between the ages of 16 and 24 at risk of long-term unemployment and poverty according to San Diego Workforce Partnership.

The event is Thursday, may 2, 8 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.at town and country. For more information click here.
