Sunny days, warmer weather in store
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – There may be lots of snow in eastern San Diego County mountains, but the coastal area can expect sunny days and warming weather over the next several days, the National Weather Service said Thursday.
“There is a definite warming trend,” NWS forecaster Noel Isla said. “There will be gradual warming, and no precipitation, for the next week.”
The weather forecaster said “we could see temperatures in the 70s Monday through Wednesday.”
But Isla warned that clear skies were also likely to bring a “freeze watch at night, mainly in the inland valleys and deserts,” over the next few days.
