Supervisors Anderson & Desmond pen letter addressing anticipated shortage of public safety officers

Regional law enforcement agencies are expected to face a shortage of sworn officers necessary to protect life and property in the next few years. Vaccine mandates at the City of San Diego could result in up to 160 officers being fired this year.
