Supreme Court protects homeless right to sleep on streets if necessary

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – It’s illegal to stop people from sleeping on the streets if there are no shelter beds available, and that 9th Circuit ruling stands this week after the Supreme Court declined to take the case.

This has major ramifications for cities in California who are dealing with tens of thousands of homeless citizens, KUSI’s Ashlie Rodriguez reports.
