Suspect stabs man in head in East Village

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Young man was taken to the hospital after being stabbed in the head.   

The 20-year-old victim was approached at 3:42 a.m. by the suspect in the 1300 block of K Street in the East Village. His attacker tried to talk to him, and when he walked away the suspect followed him, punched him twice in the face, stabbed him in the head with a knife, and immediately fled the scene.

The victim suffered a minor head wound and was taken to the hospital.

According to police, the suspect was Hispanic, in his early 20s, bearded, weighing approximately 170 pounds, and was wearing a blue San Diego Padres shirt.
