Suspects arrested for alleged drug possession during probation check

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Two suspects were arrested Saturday for allegedly possessing drug paraphernalia during a probation check.

According to Fallbrook Sheriff’s Stg. Patrick Yates, the Fallbrook Crime Suppression team and detectives were doing overnight probation checks on seven Fallbrook residents.

“All of the compliance checks were done on known offenders and early-release probationers,” Yates said. “Those targeted were identified through crime and intelligence analysis as individuals most likely to re-offend.”
