Suspicious package found near Bell Elementary
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A suspicious package was found at a Paradise Valley
middle school Tuesday, prompting students and staff to shelter in place while
authorities investigated the item.
The suspicious package at Bell Middle School, 620 Briarwood Road, was
reported around 8:30 a.m., according to San Diego police Detective Gary Hassen.
Police and fire personnel were at the school keeping an eye on the
package while the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department's Metro Arson Strike Team
was en route to examine it, he said.
