Sweetwater Valley triumphs over Kentucky; final score 11-3

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – 7:26 p.m. – The Sweetwater Valley Little League team were able to redeem themselves from Sunday’s game against Kentucky Tuesday night, beating them 11-3.

They now head to the semifinals and will play their next game Thursday at 5 p.m.

3:10 p.m. – The Sweetwater Valley Little League All-Stars once again face elimination in Williamsport on Tuesday in a rematch against the Kentucky All-Stars, from Bowling Green, who were defeated by Sweetwater Valley last Friday (VIDEO) by way of the Mercy rule, by a final score of 14-2.

The Bonita based youngsters will be looking for a similar result, to say the least.

The game is set to be televised nationally at 5 p.m. PST.
