Actor Ben Vereen was on Good Morning San Diego getting the word out about the TCOYD San Diego Conference to Encourage Others to Join the Movement for Better Blood Sugar Control.

Join Tony Award-Winning Actor and Broadway Star Ben Vereen as he “Takes a S.T.A.N.D.” for Diabetes at the San Diego TCOYD conference on October 30 at 12:20 PM. at the San Diego Convention Center.

According to San Diego County Government statistics, the percentage of obese people in San Diego continues to increase, and the number of hospitalization's because of diabetes also continues to escalate.  Not surprising, since nearly 24 million Americans are living with diabetes, and in the United States, every 21 seconds another person is diagnosed with the disease.
