Talks resume in Washington on debt ceiling bill

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Talks over raising the debt ceiling resumed in Washington, D.C. on Friday after the GOP brought negotiations to a momentary halt earlier in the day.

Both parties expressed optimism about reaching a deal earlier in the week but remained hard at work attempting to reach a deal.
