CHULA VISTA (KUSI) – It’s a holiday tradition for so many families, having tamales for Christmas. And one restaurant in Chula Vista never disappoints.

Every Christmas Eve, hundreds of people wait in long lines to get there tamales for Christmas from Tamales Ancira.

Tamales are a reflection of regional traditions, available ingredients and personal household tastes.

KUSI’s Allie Wagner was there at 6:00 AM and the line was already out the door! An hour later, the line was just as big with more people waiting to buy the delicious tamales.
