Teacher job fair coming Up March 30th

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The San Diego County Office of Education is organizing job fairs and other initiatives as a way to help alleviate the growing teacher shortage.

The job fair will be held from 8 am to 2 pm on March 30 at Liberty Station Conference Center, 2600 Laning Road, in San Diego.

SDCOE staff, including credential experts, will be on hand to provide advisement and career counseling based on current qualifications.

People are encouraged to dress professionally and bring resumes. SDCOE said last year, more than 700 educators participated. Many received job offers that day.

They are also working to help alleviate issues for local school districts related to the teacher shortage are through grant and internship programs.
