Teen arrested in Canyon Crest Academy online threat
SAN DIEGO (CNS) – A 16-year-old girl was arrested Friday in connection with a threat made against Canyon Crest Academy in Carmel Valley, one of two San Diego schools that were placed on lockdown because of threats.
The girl is not a student at the school and the threat does not appear to be related to a shooting threat at Torrey Pines High School, for which a 17-year-old boy was arrested, said Lt. Kevin Mayer of the San Diego Police Department.
