The National MS Society is setting out to raise $1 million this Giving Tuesday

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Earlier this year, a new study funded by the National MS Society found that there are nearly 1 million people living with Multiple Sclerosis in the U.S. That’s more than double the previous estimate of  400,000.

This Giving Tuesday (Dec. 3), the Society has a goal of raising $1 million dollars in funds for people with this disabling disease of the central nervous system. A disease that does not yet have a cure.

Diana Twadell, Board Chair of Pacific South Coast Chapter from the National MS Society, was in studio to tell us about it.
