The second annual beWELL Fitness Fair

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The La Jolla and Carmel Valley units of Rady Children’s Hospital Auxiliary will host the second annual beWELL Fitness Fair, which is scheduled for Sunday, September 29, from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the La Jolla High School Stadium.

Net proceeds will benefit the new Copley Psychiatric Emergency Department and affiliate programs at Rady Children’s, the region’s first emergency facility dedicated to children experiencing a mental or behavioral health crisis. The facility is scheduled to open in 2020.

This family-friendly fundraiser features a fitness boot camp, yoga class, local vendors, live entertainment and opportunity drawing for guests to enjoy.

Registration begins at 8 a.m. Attendees will be welcomed with opening announcements from the beWELL team as well as special guest Sheri Matthews Kimmel, a former Lululemon ambassador, wellness consultant and activist.

Guests will participate in the boot camp with Coach Tee at 8:30 a.m. followed by another speaker and a yoga class at 9:30 a.m. with Pam Hendricks from CorePower Yoga.

There will be a special performance from full-time musician and yoga instructor Kinnie Dye during the yoga class led by Pam Hendricks.

Afterwards, guests will be able to enjoy a variety of food and beverage vendors while visiting the vendor village.
