They Want It Stopped!

Wednesday, July 03, 2013 – Early this year KUSI's Michael Turko exposed a SANDAG plan to build a bus-only bridge in a narrow South Bay greenbelt. Neighbors say they knew nothing about it and now Turko says it was originally supposed to be a trolley line. SANDAG planners say bus rapid transit can be built faster and cheaper than light rail and could be converted to light rail in the future. The SANDAG board is expected to make a decision on the bridge or an alternate route later this month.
