Thousands boarded the USS Midway to honor the victims of 9/11

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Thousands came out to the USS Midway Museum today to remember the victims of 9/11.

The ceremony included the presentation of colors, reading the names of the first responders, and the tolling of the bells.

New York Fire Department Retirees of San Diego, Wounded Warriors Project officials, and the National City and San Diego Fire Departments were all part of the ceremony to honor the lives lost on this day seventeen years ago.
