Thousands without power in South Bay area

SAN DIEGO – Over 3,000 SDG&E lost power in the South Bay area Wednesday night, according to the SDG&E website.

SDG&E is working to restore power as quickly as possible, but the cause of the outage is still unknown.

Areas without power include: Otay Mesa, Otay Lake, East Lake, and Rancho Del Rey.
