Three people arrested in Carlsbad for breaking into a vehicle
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – A woman and two men were arrested in Carlsbad Saturday for breaking into a vehicle.
A witness reported the theft just before 3 a.m. Police arrived as the suspects were attempting to drive away.
They stopped the suspects — Oceanside residents Cesar Hernandez, 26, and Angelita Cruz, 36, and 48-year-old Steven Cannon of Vista — and allegedly found stolen property, according to the sergeant.
Cruz, Hernandez and Cannon were arrested on suspicion of grand theft, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime. Cannon had a felony warrant already and is expected to face additional charges stemming from felony drug and a vehicle theft.
