Three stabbed in Downtown altercation

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Three men in their 20s were stabbed during a fight
with a fourth man in downtown San Diego's Marina District early Wednesday, police
said.

Officers were called to investigate the stabbings at Fourth Avenue and
Market Street at 1:53 a.m., according to San Diego police Officer Dino
Delimitros.

The suspect — a tall Hispanic man in his 30s with a thick black beard —
was accompanied by a white woman in her 20s or 30s wearing a black dress,
Delimitros said, noting the couple fled northbound on foot.

It was unclear what the fight was over.

The wounded men were taken to a hospital but none of their injuries were
life-threatening, Delimitros said.
