Three suspects arrested in Escondido in connection to car robberies

ESCONDIDO (KUSI) – Two men and a woman were arrested in Escondido Thursday in connection to a string of at least nine burglaries.

Suspects Danny Hernandez, Luis Alcantar and Cristina Rodriguez were arrested in the 13000 block of Westmark Way in Poway after officers received a report of a vehicle burglary.

According to San Diego County sheriff’s Detective Sgt. Mark Haynesworth, the suspects were stealing from landscapers’ vehicles.

The suspects were arrested after a brief foot pursuit and were booked on suspicion of burglary, possession of stolen property and other unspecified charges, Haynesworth said.
