Todd Gloria releases plan to end chronic homelessness as mayor

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – California State Assemblymember Todd Gloria (D-San Diego) released his first policy plan of his Mayoral campaign: ending chronic homelessness in San Diego.

His plan centers on four key tenets: strong Executive leadership, data-driven decision making, Housing First, and regional collaboration.

“San Diego cannot claim to be ‘America’s Finest City’ or a great city when thousands of people live unsheltered and dying on our streets. It’s time to stop the band-aids, temporary solutions, and bad policy from City Hall on this issue,” said Assemblymember Todd Gloria. “As Mayor, my administration will prioritize ending chronic homelessness. I will focus the City’s energy and resources on results-oriented programs proven to get homeless individuals off the streets, connected to services and back on their feet.”

Todd Gloria, mayoral candidate & Assemblymember Representing the 78th California Assembly District, was in studio to talk about his plan.
