Torrey Pines Falcons 36, El Camino Wildcats 14
The Torrey Pines Falcons have another victory under their belt after a win against another Avocado League component advancing to 5-0 while the Wildcats from El Camino fall to 1-3.
A 9/11 tribute to the first responders on the field kicked the Falcons off in a good way charging down the field with Evan Galluzzi getting an 11-yard touchdown in the first drive.
Shortly after, big Mac Bingham gots his first of three touchdowns for the night.
El Camino battled their way up and down the field but could not catch a break when it came to penalty flags being thrown.
The Wildcats were looking to score their first touchdown before halftime as Brock Manber threw a huge 25-yard scoring pass to Payton Whiteside that was called back due to a block in the backfield.
It was all Torrey Pines from their as they entered halftime up 21-0 and came back early in the third quarter to score again, as Evan Galluzzi picked up his second touchdown of the night.
The Wildcats got on the board as Ranse Garner ran in a touchdown from five yards. Both teams got another touchdown and Torrey added a field goal to lock in the win over the Wildcats, 36-14.
Torre Pines will go on to play Carlsbad (3-2) in a conference game and El Camino, now 1-3, will host the Eastlake Titans (4-1).
