Tri-City Medical North County Game of the Week: Ramona 42, Westview 13
When the PPR schedule comes out on Monday, the crew that gets a Ramona home game says never complains about the near 30-mile drive from the KUSI-TV studios in Kearny Mesa up the hill to R-Town. Why? It’s not just the football but the pulled pork sandwiches.
That is where the Tri-City Medical Center North County Game of the Week crew will set up shop in Week 7. The #6 Ramona Bulldogs (5-0, 2-0) will host the Westview Wolverines (3-2, 1-0) in a Palomar League match-up.
Wolverines Quarterback Beau Nelson is in his 3rd season leading Westview’s offense that averages 23 points per game. The wolverines two losses have come to two of San Diego Counties best teams in Cathedral and Torrey Pines.
The Ramona Bulldogs are highlighted by one of the most electric players in the San Diego section in Tristan Stacy. One coach describes him as lightning in a bottle, and when you pull off the cap, you will see electricity. He averages just under two touchdowns a game with a kick Return and Punt return for Touchdowns.
The Bulldogs defense also only also gives up only 9 points per game. Highlights from this game and 32 more will be on the Prep Pigskin report Friday night at 10:30’PM only on KUSI-TV. You can also follow us on all of our social media platforms, KUSIPPR on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook.
