Two bailiffs killed and a deputy injured in Michigan courthouse shooting
MICHIGAN (KUSI) — A shooting in Michigan left two bailiffs dead and a deputy and civilian injured.
The shooting involved an inmate at the Berrien County Courthouse.
The Sheriff of Berrien County said an inmate opened fire on two bailiffs, killing them, in addition to shooting a deputy and civilian, who are said to be in the hospital.

The governor of Michigan, Rick Snyder, is launching an investigation into the shooting.
The shooting happened around 11:25 a.m. PST on the third floor of the court house.
Officials said an inmate was being transferred and that’s when he grabbed a deputy’s gun and opened fire.
The sheriff of Berrien County said the shooting all began with a confrontation between a deputy and the inmate.
It is not year clear how the man was able to get a gun, but initial reports are saying he took it from one of the deputies.
The inmate was shot and killed at the scene. His name has not been released.
