Two bodies found inside Southcrest home, authorities suspect foul play

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) — Two people were found dead Friday inside a Southcrest home, and authorities suspect foul play.

Police responded just after 5 p.m. to a report of two people found dead inside a residence in the 3800 block of Gamma Street, according to Lt. Ray Valentin of the San Diego Police Department’s Homicide Unit.

Officers found one male and one female — both in their 40s — dead with gunshot wounds to their upper torsos, Valentin said.

The victims’ names are being withheld pending family notification, he said.
