Two-car crash closes El Cajon Boulevard and 46th Street

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – 12:14 p.m. – El Cajon Boulevard has since been reopened following the crash.

9:26 a.m. – El Cajon Boulevard and 46th Street were both closed in each direction Thursday morning following a crash that sent two people to the hospital.

The crash occurred just before 8:30 a.m.

One of the drivers, a 55-year-old man, had to have the roof of his vehicle removed for him to be safely taken out.

The conditions of the two victims were not immediately known. We will continue to update this story as more information becomes available.
