Two-car crash on 52 slows morning commute
SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – At least one person was hospitalized after a two-car crash on state Route 52 near University City Friday morning.
Just after 7:30 a.m., a pickup truck and a grey sedan collided with one another on the westbound 52 near Regents Road. Two lanes were blocked as a result of the crash.
According to the CHP, one person inside the Honda sedan may have been suffering from a seizure at the time of the collision.
One person was taken to the UC San Diego Medical Center after the crash. Lanes were reopened roughly one hour later.
