Two injured when car crashes into house in Spring Valley

SPRING VALLEY (CNS) – A man and woman were hurt when a vehicle crashed into a Spring Valley home Friday afternoon.

The car crashed into the house at 9949 Estrella Drive around 2:15 p.m. for unknown reasons. It took firefighters about 25 minutes to free the driver from the wreckage, according to Cal Fire.

The driver and passenger were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries, Cal Fire reported. Their names were not released.

County building inspectors were summoned to inspect the home because it sustained “quite a bit of damage,” Cal Fire Capt. Kendal Bortisser said.
