Two men stabbed in Colina del Sol during fight

SAN DIEGO (CNS) – Two men were stabbed during a fight with up to eight other men early Saturday in the Colina del Sol neighborhood.

One of the victims was stabbed in the back and the other in the chest at some point during the melee on Orange Avenue near 47th Street shortly before 1:30 a.m., San Diego police Officer Robert Heims said.

Both wounded men were taken to a hospital to be treated for their injuries, which Heims said were not life-threatening.

A description of the assailants was not immediately available.
