Two shot, one fatally, at a College area apartment complex

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Two men were shot, one fatally, tonight in the College Area of San Diego.

Both victims described as white males in their 20s.

The shooting occurred around 7:30 p.m. at the Aztec Pacific Apartments at 6663 Montezuma Road, near El Cajon Boulevard, according to Sgt. Clinton Leisz of the San Diego Police Department.

One person died at the scene, and another was taken to a hospital in unknown condition, Leisz said.

Two black men were seen leaving the scene, jumping a fence. No further suspect description, Lieutenant Matt Dobbs of SDPD said.
