Two vehicles involved in shooting at University Avenue and University Square

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – Two vehicles were involved in a shooting Friday afternoon in the 5900 block of University Avenue and University Square.

For an unknown reason, a sedan with two males inside began shooting at the victim's vehicle. The Lexus was hit 5 times by bullets and a rear passenger suffered a grazing wound to his shoulder.

There are no further details at this time.

The Gang Unit is investigating.
