USA Swim Foundation promotes water safety in San Diego

SAN DIEGO (KUSI) – The Make A Splash Tour is in San Diego celebrating its 52nd stop since the tour began in 2007 to provide swimming lessons was promote water safety to children.

Olympians Ryan Murphy, Josh Davis and Rowdy Games will participate in a variety of events in San Diego. The three swimmers will stop by the Copley Price YMCA and will also hold a drowning prevention event at Mission Beach starting at 2 p.m. Monday, June 3rd.

USA Swimming Foundation recently launched the #Goggleson campaign encouraging the swimming community to support the cause on social media. To get involved, share a photo of video of yourself and friends in goggles wherever you are to help spread the word about ‘Learn to Swim’ and ‘Water Safety’.
