USS Carl Vinson Strike Group participates in military exercises with South Korea

The USS Carl Vinson Strike Group is participating in military exercises with South Korea. 

This comes as the strike group was deployed to the Korean Peninsula after mounting tensions over North Korea’s nuclear missile program.

Just last week, sailors received words from the U.S. Pacific Command that their current deployment would be extended by 30 days.
