Valley Center car crash sends two to hospital

VALLEY CENTER (KUSI) – Two people were in the hospital Wednesday morning following a car crash in Valley Center.

Police were notified just after 12:30 a.m. after a woman called for help, stating that her car had been struck by a SUV on Canal Road near Paradise Mountain Road. The motorist who was struck also had a 4-month-old baby in her vehicle at the time of impact.

According to the CHP, two people were taken from the scene to a local hospital, but it was not known if the infant was one of the two. Both of the drivers, however, remained at the scene of the collision.
